Contests and things...

Back in early September, I was informed of a "Culinary" art contest sponsored by the "Florida Tomato Culinary Art Tour." This was an event to further Florida's image of not only being known for it's oranges, but equally for their field-grown tomatoes. I was not placed amongst the 16 finalists... but I still enjoyed participating.
About a year ago, Udon came out with a Street Fighter Tribute book. A few months ago I found out through a friend, that they are doing a tribute book this year for DarkStalkers.
This book is slated to be released in the fall. I will post my art submissions regardless if it's inducted into the book or not. The images of my work for this contest will be viewable "ONLY AFTER THE BOOK'S RELEASE." This is something that the contest officials have requested. After all... we wouldn't want to spoil any surprises. Stay tuned for further detail in the upcoming months.

A few more sketches...

Ok... I'm going to try and be consistent here... the two similar horizontal sketches are based off of "Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie." The third sketch is from a while back, but I still like it. Its of Brandon Lee as "The Crow."

We're on our way... here are some of my sketches from my current and previous sketchbook... I apologize if some of these images aren't too clear. I used my digital camera for the sake of saving time...

Ready, set, create...

Welcome all to a place for me to display my artistic talents. Over the next few months or so, I will be uploading my work to show the range of my skills. This work will span my personally created and copyrighted work, my participation and contributions in a variety of events (both mine and of others), as well as general artwork of already existing materials of others (Fan work).
The works shown here on this blog will include but are not limited to: a variety of contests I've participated in (even those I did not win), various paintings (both commissioned or otherwise), tattoo designs created and my comic book creations such as my Main title character Ninja Blade.
Most, if not all of my comic book characters including Ninja Blade, go back as far 1989. It is my opinion that much of my comic book characters and stories have matured over the years. You will also see the natural progression of many of these characters. On that note, lets go...
